Last week I was honored to provide centerpiece arrangements for the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) at their annual “History Makers” gala. The Grand Hyatt Seattle was the beautiful venue for this event. The coordinators wished to have floral designs that reflected the artwork of their special guest speaker, John Grade, and also harmonized with the venue’s contemporary interiors. The designs I created incorporated a variety of fresh and dried natural elements, including feathers, in wood and ceramic containers. It was a very fun project! Here are a few quick photos I took after setting up.
